# Add a description to a Widget
* To add a description to a Widget, click the ⋯ icon on the right of the View list dropdown box then click the “Add description” button.
* You can make the actions the same as in the [Dashboard](/docs/dashboard/dashboard/add-a-description-to-a-dashboard.md).
