# Delete a Collection
* To delete a Collection, click on the ⋮ icon.
* Click on the Delete button.
* You can also click on the ⋯ icon at the top right.
* Then click on the Delete option.
:exclamation:A Warning - Confirmation box will pop up:
* To cancel the Delete process, simply click the “Dismiss” button or the “X” button or click outside of the Warning - Confirmation box
* To confirm, click on the check box and click the “Delete” button will delete that Collection.

* Deleting the Collection is **irreversible.**
* All data models, sub-collections within this collection and downstream data models, and widget reports will be permanently and irreversibly deleted.

You can not delete the default Collection of a Team.

* Connection sources can only be deleted on the [Connection](/docs/connect/data-connectors-trino-fivetran-endash-provider-and-cigro-connector.md) page so you can add and configure it again.
* You will be directed to the top Collection if you are in the current deleted Collection.
